On the 1st of May, 2018 the Nutrition Network officially launched the Online Course: “Professional Training in LCHF/Ketogenic Nutrition & Treatment!” This online, CME-approved low carb training course is the first of it’s kind and has received full international CPD (Continuing Professional Development) accreditation. It is worth 23 CPD units for participating medical professionals!
At LowCarbUSA® we were already in the process of creating an online course when we became aware of the efforts of The Noakes Foundation to do the same thing. Instead of duplicating effort, we have chosen to join forces and collaborate with them and the Nutrition Network to bring to you a unified, online, CME-Approved low carb training course.
Research and clinical data showing the benefits of the ketogenic lifestyle for treating a myriad of chronic diseases plaguing our society today is becoming available at an ever increasing rate. Even more important than that is the fact that the evidence is starting to show that total prevention of these diseases may be possible just by changing the way we eat. Positive anecdotal data is streaming in at an ever increasing rate as well.
In order for this paradigm shift to occur we need to get the doctors and medical practitioners on board and educated about the real science. This training is presented by national and international medical and allied healthcare experts in their field, on a range of topics related to LCHF nutrition and its implementation into clinical practice. The speaker line up includes world-renowned experts: Prof Tim Noakes, Dr Eric Westman, Dr Ann Childers, Dr Hassina Kajee, Dr Bret Scher & Dr Brian Lenzkes.
The course is presented as a series of online, self-study and learning modules and has been developed specifically for:
– Medical doctors
– Registered nurses
– Dieticians
– Nutritionists
